On the way
- Shape snapping
- Draw a rough line, box, or circle and hold it, and it snaps into a clean shape.
- Start from a suggestion
- Start an entry from the day's moments, using Apple's private on-device Journaling Suggestions.

- Handwriting search
- Find the words you wrote by hand. iOS 27 only, since it uses Apple's on-device recognizer.
- Markdown export
- One more way to get your writing out, alongside PDF and journal files.
- Daily reminder
- An optional nudge to write, at a time you choose. Never a streak.
